Mary’s Way: A Place of Peace and Reflection
Nestled between our cafeteria and gymnasium, Mary’s Way is a serene walkway that encircles the stunning bronze sculpture of Mary, Star of the Sea—a masterpiece crafted in 2004 by acclaimed national artist Robert Cunningham. This sacred path, made possible by the Alice B. Glasheen Memorial Trust, is lined with commemorative bricks honoring the legacies of those who’ve touched our community.
The Pathway to the Pier: Honoring Visionaries and Educators
Our newest addition connects the lower school building to the Waterfront classroom. This scenic path was brought to life through heartfelt memorial gifts from the Minetti and Kearney families—beloved champions of SMSS and lifelong advocates for Hampton.
About the Bricks/Pavers:
- Each paver includes up to 3 lines of text, 15 characters per line
- Multiple pavers can also be placed together to create a larger, more personalized tribute.
- Each brick/paver is only $125.
