Marine Science Club
The Marine Science Club at Saint Mary’s meets monthly during the months of September, October, November, April and May to observe, study, and work with hands-on activities involving marine creatures, plants, and their habitats so that children can become good stewards of God’s creation. Some activities include fishing, crabbing, cleaning the shoreline, observing water birds, handling marine species, working with the new living shoreline and oyster floats, learning from guest speakers (experts in aquaculture, reptiles, oceanography, etc.), and more! The club is available for students in grades 5 through 8.
